This Privacy Policy and these Terms & Conditions apply to the websites, digital services, programs, event platforms, registration systems, and communications operated by or on behalf of Bryan College Station Builders Association, doing business as Greater Brazos Valley Builders Association (“GBVBA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
Covered websites and services include, without limitation:

Privacy Policy
1. Information We Collect
GBVBA may collect information that you voluntarily provide to us, including:
- Name
- Company or organization name
- Mailing address

- Telephone and mobile phone numbers

- Event registrations and attendance information
- Parade of Homes or Home & Lifestyle Expo registration information
- Payment and transaction-related information

Payment-card information may be processed by third-party payment processors. GBVBA may not directly store complete payment-card information depending on the payment system being used.

GBVBA may use information we collect to:
- Administer membership and member accounts

4. Sharing Information With Service Providers
GBVBA does not sell or rent personal information to third parties.
We may provide information to trusted vendors and service providers that assist us with membership administration, website hosting, event registration, ticketing, payment processing, email delivery, SMS messaging, surveys, analytics, database management, advertising, communications, or other services necessary to operate GBVBA programs.
These providers are permitted to use information only as reasonably necessary to provide services to GBVBA or as otherwise permitted by applicable law.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, governmental requests, enforce our agreements or policies, protect GBVBA or others from harm, investigate suspected fraud or misuse, or protect our legal rights.
5. SMS and Mobile Information
If you voluntarily opt in to receive SMS text messages from GBVBA, we may use your mobile phone number to send association-related communications, including event registration reminders, event attendance reminders, deadlines, programs, meetings, leadership opportunities, and other GBVBA notices.
Message frequency is generally approximately 1–2 messages per month, although frequency may vary depending on event schedules and Association activities. Message and data rates may apply.
Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, and SMS consent information will not be sold, rented, shared, transferred, or disclosed to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
Mobile information may be provided to service providers that assist GBVBA in delivering SMS communications, such as our membership-management or messaging providers, solely as necessary to provide those services.
Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of membership, purchasing, event registration, or receiving Association services.

6. Email Communications
GBVBA may send members, registrants, participants, subscribers, and other contacts email communications relating to membership, programs, events, Association business, or other relevant information.
Marketing or promotional emails will include an unsubscribe method when required. Certain transactional, account-related, registration, billing, or administrative messages may still be sent when necessary to provide requested services.
7. Member, Builder, Exhibitor and Sponsor Information
Certain information submitted to GBVBA may be intended for public display, including member directory listings, builder information, Parade of Homes listings, sponsor information, exhibitor listings, business descriptions, logos, photographs, website links, and contact information.
By submitting information specifically for publication, you authorize GBVBA to display and use that information in connection with Association programs, websites, directories, events, marketing, and related communications.
8. Third-Party Websites and Platforms
GBVBA websites may contain links to or utilize third-party websites and services. These may include membership-management systems, payment processors, ticketing platforms, event platforms, social-media services, analytics providers, maps, advertisers, member websites, and other external services.
GBVBA does not control the privacy practices, security, availability, or content of independent third-party services. Your use of a third-party website or service may be governed by that provider’s own privacy policy and terms.
9. Cookies and Analytics
Our websites may use cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences, maintain login sessions, understand usage, improve functionality, measure traffic, and support marketing or analytics activities.
Browser settings may allow you to restrict or disable cookies. Doing so may affect the functionality of certain website features.
10. Data Security
GBVBA uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

12. Requests Regarding Personal Information
You may contact GBVBA to request that we review, correct, or, where reasonably appropriate, delete personal information maintained by the Association.
Certain information may need to be retained for legal, financial, contractual, membership, transaction, recordkeeping, or other legitimate purposes.
13. Children’s Privacy
GBVBA does not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13 without appropriate authorization.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
GBVBA may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be posted on this page and the “Last Updated” date will be revised.
Website & Digital Services Terms & Conditions
1. Organization
These websites and digital services are operated by Bryan College Station Builders Association, doing business as Greater Brazos Valley Builders Association, a Texas nonprofit trade association organized under Section 501(c)(6) of the Internal Revenue Code.
2. Informational Purpose
GBVBA websites provide information concerning the Association, its members, the residential construction industry, events, programs, government affairs, education, the Parade of Homes, the Home & Lifestyle Expo, sponsors, exhibitors, builders, and other activities.
Information is provided for general informational purposes and should not be considered legal, engineering, architectural, financial, tax, real-estate, construction, code-compliance, or other professional advice.
3. Accuracy and Availability of Information
GBVBA attempts to provide useful and accurate information; however, information may contain errors, omissions, outdated material, or information supplied by third parties.
Event schedules, participating homes, builders, exhibitors, sponsors, speakers, programs, pricing, availability, registration deadlines, locations, and other information may change without notice.
GBVBA does not warrant that any website or digital service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or continuously available.
4. No Endorsement or Guarantee
Membership in GBVBA, participation in the Parade of Homes or Home & Lifestyle Expo, sponsorship, advertising, directory inclusion, or appearance on a GBVBA website does not constitute a warranty, certification, guarantee, or endorsement by GBVBA.
Builders, remodelers, subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, exhibitors, sponsors, advertisers, and other businesses appearing on GBVBA websites are independent persons or entities.
GBVBA does not guarantee or warrant any participant’s licensing status, insurance, financial condition, products, services, workmanship, pricing, representations, code compliance, contracts, warranties, business practices, or performance.
Users are responsible for conducting their own due diligence before entering into any contract or transaction with a member, builder, exhibitor, vendor, sponsor, advertiser, or other third party.
5. Parade of Homes Information
Parade of Homes properties are owned, constructed, marketed, or controlled by participating builders, developers, homeowners, or other independent parties and are not owned or controlled by GBVBA unless expressly stated otherwise.
Participating homes, addresses, availability, viewing hours, features, pricing, photographs, maps, and other information may change before or during the event. A home may be withdrawn, unavailable, sold, occupied, closed, or otherwise inaccessible without prior notice.
Visitors must follow all posted instructions and requirements established by the participating builder, property owner, GBVBA, or event personnel while visiting a Parade property.
6. Home & Lifestyle Expo Information
Exhibitors participating in the Home & Lifestyle Expo are independent businesses and are responsible for their own products, services, demonstrations, displays, representations, contracts, transactions, warranties, and interactions with attendees.
GBVBA does not guarantee the participation of any particular exhibitor, vendor, speaker, demonstration, or program. Exhibitor locations, schedules, activities, and event details may change without notice.
7. Event Registration and Tickets
Certain GBVBA programs and events may require registration, tickets, credentials, fees, or acceptance of additional event-specific terms.
Additional terms displayed during registration or checkout are incorporated into the agreement applicable to that transaction or event.
Refund, cancellation, substitution, transfer, admission, attendance, and event-access policies may vary by event and will be governed by the applicable registration or checkout terms.
8. User Accounts
Certain services may require an account. Users are responsible for safeguarding account credentials and for activities occurring through their accounts.
GBVBA may suspend, restrict, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the Association, its systems, members, users, or services or in response to suspected misuse.
9. User-Submitted Content
If you submit photographs, logos, descriptions, listings, advertisements, documents, event information, or other materials for publication or use by GBVBA, you represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to provide those materials.
You grant GBVBA permission to use, reproduce, resize, format, display, distribute, and publish submitted materials as reasonably necessary to administer or promote the Association, its membership, programs, events, websites, directories, and communications.
10. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise indicated, GBVBA website content, designs, logos, graphics, photographs, publications, event materials, and other Association-created content are owned by or licensed to GBVBA and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Content may not be reproduced, republished, distributed, modified, sold, or commercially used without permission except as permitted by law.
Third-party trademarks, logos, photographs, and other materials remain the property of their respective owners.
11. Third-Party Links and Services
GBVBA may link to or integrate services operated by third parties. A link or integration does not necessarily constitute an endorsement.
GBVBA is not responsible for the content, availability, privacy practices, security, representations, products, services, or conduct of independent third-party websites or providers.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GBVBA websites, digital services, and information are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
GBVBA makes no representation or warranty, express or implied, regarding the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of website content or services.

Users may not use GBVBA websites or systems to engage in unlawful activity, interfere with website operations, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious software, harvest data without authorization, impersonate another person, or otherwise misuse Association systems or content.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Nothing in these Terms requires arbitration or waives any right to participate in a class or representative proceeding unless GBVBA and the applicable party separately enter into an enforceable written agreement providing otherwise.
16. Changes to These Terms
GBVBA may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
SMS Text Messaging Terms & Conditions
1. Program Description
Greater Brazos Valley Builders Association offers an optional SMS messaging program for individuals who expressly consent to receive text messages from the Association.
Messages may include event registration reminders, event attendance reminders, registration deadlines, Association programs, meetings, educational opportunities, leadership opportunities, Parade of Homes information, Home & Lifestyle Expo information, and other GBVBA-related notices.
2. Consent
By voluntarily opting in to GBVBA SMS communications, you authorize GBVBA to send text messages to the mobile telephone number you provide.
Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of membership, purchasing, registration, or participation in a GBVBA event or program.
3. Message Frequency

4. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Your wireless carrier’s standard messaging and data charges may apply.
5. Opt Out
STOP: You may cancel SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to a GBVBA text message.
After submitting STOP, you may receive a confirmation message indicating that you have been unsubscribed. You will not receive additional campaign messages unless you subsequently provide new consent.

7. Carrier Disclaimer
